I suspect that most people have seen this film. However, no matter how many times you have seen it, it’s still sucks you in never fails to entertain. If you have been living on another planet, or indeed if you are young and haven’t yet experienced this film because you now spend your life on social media, it might be worth giving you a very basic synopsis of the film. It’s a science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis & written by Zemeckis and Bob Gale. Marty McFly, who is played by Michael J FOX, accidentally travels back in time to 1955. He meets his future parents and becomes his mother’s romantic interest! The basic idea for the script came about after Bob Gale wondered whether he would have befriended his father if they had attended school together. Who would have thought that a simple idea like that would turn into the biggest selling film of 1985, 381 Million dollars world wide!. Now that’s a lot of money now! But back then it was a silly amount of money, I remember when I could go out on a Friday night with £10 and still have change for chips at the end the night, yes!! that old chestnut.
